We are looking for an experienced and motivated Guest Relations Specialist

GRS welcomes, meets and farewells hotel guests and is responsible for the communication with all guests providing highest quality service standards. The Guest Relation Specialist is empowered to take immediate decisions in respect to guest well being. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and organise the whole guest journey process from reservation process through check in to check out and create professional relationship with all our guests throughout their stay at the resort.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of the Resort, its facilities, offered experiences  and the geographical layout of the area and surroundings.
• Knowledgeable at all time regarding guests in-house, hotel functions and special events.
• Collect daily feedback information on all guests expected/inhouse/departure on daily basis) by checking e.g. Google, PMS company wide, briefs and distribute this information within the hotel to all relevant departments by e.g. daily guest fact sheets/reports, newsletter, etc. and ensure information is updated in the guest profile.
• Pre-contact guests prior the arrival to receive necessary and helpful information, that will contribute to their memorable stay.
• Welcome, facilitate and bid farewell to as many guests as possible.
• Responsible for handling reservations, check in and check out
• Knowledgeable about all regulars, VIPs at Resort, hotel functions and special events.
• Welcome all guests upon arrival, escorted to their villa, explained hotel facilities and bid farewell upon departure.
• Liaise with GM and HOD’s to prepare tailor made guest itinerary when appropriate and coordinate VIP greetings and departures – ahead of time.
• Handle guest complaints and requests in a polite and efficient manner, give further instructions to the relevant staff if needed to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a record of all complaints and requests, follow up and inform concerned operating departments.
• Provide information to all guests regarding the services and possible internal promotions of the hotel.
• Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Front Office position preferably in an international five star property
• Luxury / International Hotel Experience is a plus
• Food & Beverage experience is a plus
• Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment 
• Excellent communication skills
• English is a must, other language additonal advantage
• Knowledge of hotel operations
• Knowledge of VIP welcoming and delivery of exceptional service
